Our basic toll free service is a simple as it sounds. You pick a toll free number and simply forward it to any 10-digit local number with a local North American area code. When people call your toll free number you can answer those calls on your local number (or Google Voice number in this case).
2. When do I pick my toll free numbers?
You pick your main toll free number during the signup process, any additional toll free numbers are chosen and managed by logging into your account after signing up.
Already have a toll free number you’d like to use? During the signup process, you also have the option to transfer an existing number to use with your account.
We offer toll free phone numbers from all toll free number area codes including 800, 888, 877, 866, 855, 844, and 833.
3. How does call forwarding work?
After you sign up, you simply enter the Google Voice number you would like to forward your toll free number to and you’re good to go — ready to start taking calls!
4. When can I start receiving phone calls?
Most toll free numbers are activated immediately after you sign up. Custom vanity numbers (e.g., 1-800 YOUR-BIZ) may take up to 1-3 business days to activate but if that’s the case we’ll let you know before you check out.
5. Do I have to forward to Google Voice?
Nope. You can forward your toll free number to any 10-digit local number with a local North American area code. Could be a Google Voice number, could be a Skype number, could be a cell phone number, could be a landline. As long as your phone number has a North American area code, you can forward calls coming in on your toll free number to it.
6. How does the risk-free trial work?
You sign up for service, and if after 30 days or your first 100 minutes used, you want to cancel, we’ll refund your money no questions asked.
7. If I cancel my account can I keep my number?
Some toll free service providers retain ownership of the toll free numbers they rent to their customers. We don’t do that here. With us, you own your number and can transfer it to another provider at any time.
Here’s how the process works: If you want to cancel and keep your number, first select another toll free service provider and tell them when you sign up that you want to transfer your existing number. They’ll contact us and we’ll release the number to them.
If you cancel your account and don’t transfer it to another toll free service provider, you could lose your number because we might release your number back to the national spare pool and so another business could use it.
