We think Unitel is a Unitel Voice RingCentral alternative, and here’s why:

Unitel Voice offers cheaper small business phone service. It’s less complicated and supported by an in-house customer service team that provides individual help for small business owners who don’t have an IT department. But don’t take our word for it. Here’s an actual email from a small business owner who switched from RingCentral to Unitel:
Message: "Hey guys, you asked for feedback in an email about a month ago.

I've been waiting to have more experience before writing. Things have been overall excellent. I've been with RingCentral since probably 2005, when they were a much smaller company. They were the answer to everything I wanted back then, a simple virtual phone system with many extensions that I could reconfigure at will. Back then customer service was pretty easy and pretty good. Now they system has grown to be too complex for my simple needs, and their customer service is outsourced to dumb land. This March I decided it was time to find a smaller, simpler virtual phone system that cost something similar to what I'm paying for my simple needs in an online scheduling system. When I found you all, I was not sure. You sounded maybe too small and unknown. However, from the start my experience has been very satisfying. I've done this sort of thing for so many years, but your sound file upload process made it so simple. And though your system is quite simple compared to others, it has all the features that I want and your simplicity makes it so easy for me to set up and maintain my phone system. The big test then would be customer service. Well, it's been great from the beginning. I had to port my old number from RingCentral, and they were totally not helpful and very slow. You all were great, answering my questions from the very start and giving me straightforward, clear answers. Mostly I love that when I call you for help, I get a real person who is smart, helpful and knowledgeable. And when I email you, I get real replies in a timely manner. And if I want, I can do chat during office hours. Frank was super helpful to debug a problem with the time stamp on my email voicemails just recently. He seemed actually happy to help, and pleased that you all solved my problem. That's what I call real customer service. So thanks for being a small, real, helpful company with a simple product that really works, and makes my job easier. I'm glad you're here for me.
