1. How do I get the UniTel Voice virtual phone system app?

First, you sign in to your online UniTel Voice account and create an employee extension. Inside your employee extension, you’ll find your app’s login credentials and links to download your app from either the Apple Store or Google Play

 

2. How do I log in to the UniTel Voice mobile app?

To log in to your app you need to first create your own employee extension and then use your employee extension’s login credentials to sign in to your mobile app. Your app is designed to sync with your personal employee extension. So for that reason, the admin-level username and password you created at signup will not work as your mobile app login. 

 

3. How do I ensure high call quality using the mobile app?

For the best experience, we recommend using a strong wifi connection. The mobile app uses your local wifi to make and receive calls. If wifi isn’t available your app will run off your cellular data. But like all VoIP technology products, if you have a weak wifi connection or a poor data signal, it can affect your call quality.

 

4. Is the UniTel Voice app free?

Yes. The UniTel Voice mobile app is free to customers and is included with all of our business phone system plans

 

5. Do I have to use the UniTel Voice mobile app?

No. UniTel Voice can forward calls to any phone number, or phone (even landlines and old school cell phones). We also offer the UniTel Voice Office plan that allows you to connect a softphone or IP-phone (physical desk phone).
